A little bit about "Us"
Jeff has been involved in the septic system pumping business for most of his life. His father started a business in Golden, Colorado in 1959 when Jeff was just 6. Jeff spent his afternoons, weekends and summer vacations "helping Pop".
After graduating high school in 1972, Jeff went to work full time with Pop.
In 1998 we sold this business for a opportunity to run a ranch in Eastern Colorado for a fellow. While we enjoyed this immensely, it wasn't long before we knew that we were too independent and needed to have a business of our own. So in 2000 we started another Septic Tank Pumping business and we added a Portable Toilet Service this time.
We found an area East of Denver that was just beginning to grow and opened up.
Since Jeff has been doing this type of work for so long he has acquired vast knowledge and experience of the different types of systems and has seen what has worked and what has not. He has heard and seen all the "old wives tales" of what to add and what not to add to keep a system functioning properly. We will address a lot of these issued on the "Education" page. We have spent much time educating ourselves on the industry and belong to several local and national organizations. Both of us have been certified to inspect septic systems from NAWT (national organization). We attend the annual Liquid Waste Haulers Trade Show and Convention to learn what is new and up and coming within the industry. We do all this to provide the very best service to our customers.
I currently sit on the board of Colorado Professional for Onsite Wastewater (CPOW). My goal is to help educate the consumer on septic maintenance and operation. CPOW is working hard to help Colorado develop a uniformed code. It's exciting work and one that I am proud to be a part of.
In addition to sitting on the board for CPOW I am also one of two NAWT certified trainers in the state. Through CPOW, Bob and I bring the nationally recognized NAWT Onsite Wastewater Training and Certification courses to Colorado to help the professionals in the area raise the bar for the industry and provide you, the customer, the very best and most up to date information we can.
